The fee for each 50-minute individual counseling or therapy session is $160 for Dr. Parkhurst, and $140 for all other clinicians.* Psychiatric evaluation with Dr. Chin is $250, and $180 for follow-up medication checks. The fee for group therapy varies per 75-minute session. All or some portion of this fee may be covered by the client's health insurance policy. The nature and size of this private practice are such that it is not possible to work directly with insurance companies for reimbursement. It is therefore necessary that the client pay directly for services rendered, and then seek reimbursement from their insurance companies. Any help needed in submitting bills, however, will be gladly offered. All fees are payable at the time that services are rendered, unless other arrangements have been made. Cash, check, Visa and Mastercard are all acceptable forms of payment. All accounts should be paid in total at least monthly. Fees may increase periodically.
* It may be possible to be flexible in cases of financial hardship, in order to maintain the therapeutic relationship, while the client's finances are reorganized.
